The culture of the school

The school is dominated by an atmosphere of transparency, open-mindedness, attention and cooperation with respect for every individual. Accordingly, anyone shall feel welcome regardless of gender, colour of skin, age or orientation.
The active, outgoing and sustainable environment that is clearly expressed in the social life in the canteen is characteristic of the school. It reflects the school's tradition for critical commitment in the world that surrounds us.
Participation in the democratic process is a part of our everyday life. Every morning we have a "morning meeting" where a diverse range of information is given. The morning meeting also has some authority for taking decisions. The school's canteen with its healthy, vegan food, lending out of the school's premises to various arrangements, the well-organized parties and many different alternative initiatives are but a few aspects of the school's culture.
