The school board of governors
The school is managed in agreement with the rules and regulations for Private Schools (and "Free" Schools).
The school board of governors gets informed about the decisions made at the School Meeting through board meetings. The school board of governors approves these.
At the board meetings things that are relevant to the school are discussed, e.g. approval of budgets. They also participate in bigger discussions which involve greater changes for the cooperation of the school, e.g. expansions, alterations etc.
The school board of governors consists of 7 members and they are chosen for one year at a time, which is done at the annual general meeting.
To be chosen you have to be a member of the school's støttekreds, which is a committee/a non-active group of persons, often former students or former employees, who support the school economically.
Furthermore, two of the members also have to be representing the primary and lower secondary school.
