"STØTTEKREDSEN" - a group of supporters

The støttekreds is a committee/a non-active group of former students and employees, parents of present pupils or other people who have any kind of interest in the school and who wish to support the school economically.
As a member you annually receive a membership magazine with articles written by students and teachers, about the life on the school and other specific and interesting experiences, such as study trips. One gets an idea of what life is like behind the walls of Det frie Gymnasium, which gives the opportunity to keep up the contact to the place.
Without the group of people supporting us, Det frie Gymnasium wouldn't be the same. The attendance is an expression for the support of the ideas of the school.
One of the most important tasks is to support students who don't have the sufficient economy to pay for their study trip with their classmates. Far from all students have the sufficient amount of money to pay for their trips. Therefore the economic support is worth a lot and cherished highly.
A membership costs 200 kroners a year and students, unemployed, pensioners and other people with less money, pay 100 kroners a year.
